Mayagüez Institute of Technology ha solicitado fondos para estudiantes de acuerdo con la Sección 18004(a)(1) del CARES ACT y Subvenciones HEERF I, II y III tan pronto el Departamento hizo los formularios disponibles a las instituciones. También notificó su intención de distribuir no menos del 50% de los fondos CARES (HEERF I) y el 100% de los HEERF II, HEERF III en ayudas económicas para los estudiantes con necesidad económica. Mayagüez Institute of Technology  requested funds for students in accordance with Section 18004 (a) (1) of CARES (HEERF I, HEERF II, HEERF III) as soon as the Department made the forms available to the institutions). It also notified its intention to distribute no less than 50% of the CARES (HEERF I) and 100% of the HEERF II, HEERF III to students.
